Deep ruby. Mineral-laced aromas of blackberry and cherry-cola, with a smoky nuance building in the glass. Sappy and precise, offering spicy dark berry flavors and a subtle touch of violet pastille. Closes supple and long, with smooth tannins giving shape to the wine's sweet dark fruit. This drinks very well now after an hour or so of decanting.
