Good ruby-red.  Aromas of plum, tobacco and licorice, along with a whiff of game.  In a supple, gentle style, with mellow currant, tobacco and menthol flavors supported by brisk but harmonious acidity.  A distinctly polite 2007, not especially large-scaled or dense but fresh and nicely balanced.  Finishes with fairly light tannins that will not get in the way of enjoying this cabernet in its youth.
