Have tried two bottles with rich beef dishes and strong cheese and let breathe for a couple of hours. Wine remained closed and with little complexity/bouquet on both occasions.

This is an insipid offering from a top-notch firm Unfortunately, they are able to trade on their name to fashion a wine drawn from their own fabled holdings plus "other top quality" producers. I'm afraid it was mostly the latter. This wine compares poorly even to a middle of the road Gigondas
