(50% chardonnay, 25% gewurztraminer and 25% riesling) Green-gold. Marsanne-like aromas of chamomile and butter are joined by pineapple, papaya and a hint of creme brulee Deep white stone fruit and herb flavors coat the palate, with hints of tar, minerals and honey adding complexity. A weighty, rich and creamy white wine, and fairly long on the finish, but its strong and rather disjointed acidity detracts from its pleasure. I'd drink this wine over the next six months or so.
