Bright, full yellow. High-toned aromas of pineapple, ripe peach, butter brickle, spices and minerals. Very sweet and thick, with flavors of pineapple, honey and white raisin complicated by sexy resiny high notes and a saline aspect. Finishes fat and impressively long, with powerful fruit framed by harmonious ripe acidity. This BA-style wine is actually "a negative selection of the TBA," notes Ernst Loosen. The berries for the Single Berry Select Riesling are picked first, and then the rest is harvested by machine.
