($13) Deep red. Textbook cabernet aromas of red- and blackcurrant, cherry and spices, with hints of tobacco and cracked pepper. Firm on entry, then turns juicy with air, offering more pliant bitter cherry and red berry flavors and a smooth, sappy texture. No obvious tannins here. The finish is nicely focused but just a touch short.
