Light, bright yellow. Impressively fresh, stony aromas of lime, green apple, wet stone and honeysuckle, plus a hint of quinine. Racy and firm in the mouth, offering tangy citrus, anise and mineral flavors that gain power and depth with air. A touch of smokiness lingers behind the nervy, strikingly precise and persistent finish. This superbly balanced, energetic wine will reward at least another five to seven years of patience.
