(the first vintage for this bottling, made from young, replanted La Villa vines):  Good full red.  Sexy, ripe aromas of currant, underbrush and licorice.  Broad, sweet and open-knit, with nicely concentrated, lightly saline berry and licorice flavors.  Shows much gentler tannins than the 2008 La Villa, and finishes juicy and persistent.  This would make a good Barolo by-the-glass pour for a restaurant.
