Glass-staining purple.  Powerful aromas of cherry, blackberry, smoky minerals and vanilla.  Lush and creamy on the palate, offering sweet, liqueur-like dark berry flavors and a jolt of peppery spices.  Finishes bright and delineated, with gentle silky tannins coming on late.  This flamboyant syrah is delicious right now but has the depth to age.
