($110) Good deep ruby. Black fruits, tobacco, minerals, licorice and menthol on the nose, plus a suggestion of fresh herbs. Savory and not especially sweet in the mouth, with youthfully tight flavors of currant, spices and tobacco complicated by soil tones. Just a hint of drying oak on the firmly tannic finish.
