94 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - September/October 2009

($26; for 375 ml.; 100% moscatel de alejandria; 258 g/l residual sugar) Greenish-gold color. Intensely perfumed bouquet of ripe pineapple, honeydew, white peach and baking spices, with a spicy undercurrent. Extremely sweet but the luscious melon and pit fruit flavors are braced by crackling minerality, which adds focus and cut. As lithe and precise a late-harvest wine as I've ever tasted, offering excellent finishing clarity and sweet, nervy persistence.
