($54; 90% nebbiolo and 10% barbera; aged in 90% new barriques Good deep red-ruby. Captivating aromas of raspberry, wild rose, tobacco and nutty, vanillin oak. Quite sweet for this wine at Clerico but with lovely vinosity and flavor intensity. Bigger than usual for Arte but still essentially a medium-bodied blend. Finishes with powerful but sweet tannins.
