($30) Bright ruby-red. Expressive aromas of cassis, licorice and flowers. Lush, pliant and sweet, but with juicy acidity giving lift to the mid-palate. Offers classic dry, dark fruit cabernet flavors and finishes firm and fresh. Champoux vineyard is the most important source for this wine, which also includes bits of cabernet franc, merlot and malbec.
