88 Points | International Wine Cellar , March/April 2010

($25) Light yellow. Fresh orange and apple on the nose, with complicating notes of anise and wet stone. Dry, nervy citrus and floral flavors are nicely focused and pure. Gains fleshiness with aeration and finishes with lingering mineral and floral qualities. (The weighty, deeply concentrated 2006 Cuvee du Connetable was so overwhelmed by spicy, vanillin oak that it was unidentifiable as sauvignon blanc, much less Sancerre.)
