88 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - May/June 2010

($22) Ruby-red. Musky red berries, cherry and underbrush on the nose, with hints of sassafras and black tea adding nuance. Firm on entry, then gains depth and flesh in the middle palate and offers zesty redcurrant and bitter cherry flavors. A classic rendition of Chinon that finishes with very good lift and peppery length.
