olives and herbs

I ordered this wine because the tasting notes mentioned olives, and I wasn't dissappointed, the attack is filled with ripe oil cured black olives, with wonderful herbal notes behind. I have enjoyed this wine very much, I am glad I got a case, and hope it appears again!
A much better bottle

I waited a few more months before going back to this wine. This bottle was really excellent, dark red fruits, blackberries and cassis with an excellent, silky mouth feel, just the right weight for a big wine such as this. The acidity was balanced nicely and it was drinking superbly after two hours in the decanter.
Coming Around

Much better knit than last time. Seems to be reaching its plateau of maturity. Very satisfying Rhone and a real value.
