($39) Green-tinged gold. Pungent, expansive scents of candied lime, melon, pear skin and honeysuckle are complemented by notes of talc, quinine and smoky herbs. Juicy and penetrating, offering sweet citrus and orchard fruit flavors and an exotic note of candied rose. Becomes more mineral-inflected with air and finishes with outstanding clarity, spiciness and tangy persistence. A strong showing for what is consistently one of Spain's finest white wines.
