91 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - May/June 2009

($75) Vivid red. Raspberry, cherry and rose oil on the nose, with a musky note of underbrush adding nuance. Deep, chewy red and dark berry flavors gain energy with air. Leaves candied flowers and anise behind on the long, sappy finish, which features fine-grained tannins. Already complex but this possesses good concentration (especially for the vintage) and the balance to age.
