($12) Deep ruby. Exotically perfumed aromas of red and dark berry preserves, incense, rose and cigar box. Sweet raspberry and boysenberry flavors coat the palate and betray no rough edges, with a jolt of tangy minerals adding energy. Quite complex for the price, with good finishing sweetness, lift and cut.
