These wines are generally single-site bottlings that express the unique characteristics of vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Alexander Valley and Dry Creek Valley, among others.

this wine jumps out at you in a good way. its got a great nose of black fruits that scream for you to take the first sip. I love the ripe blackberry and plum flavors, but it is just a tad bit over-alcoholic, and a bit too hedonistic to really feel that this wine reached the harmony that the great flavors long for. I didn't finish the bottle on the first night, and it was even better the second. good now, but I think it will improve with a year or two. given the price, i plan to pick up another bottle or two to share with some friends at a bbq.
