($47; 85% tempranillo and 15% syrah) Deep ruby. Sexy aromas of black raspberry and cherry, with hints of cracked pepper, dried rose and minerals. Very sweet and open-knit, showing supple but lively red berry character in the mouth. Finishes sappy and long, with gentle tannins that will not get in the way of drinking this wine now. But I have no doubt that it will age well.
