93 Points | International Wine Cellar , July/August 2010

($50; 87-year-old vines) Deep, bright ruby. Highly aromatic nose of dark berries, cherry-cola, licorice and flowers, lifted by a peppery topnote. Pliant and very rich but quite primary, offering sweet red and dark berry liqueur flavors and smooth tannins. Building notes of candied flowers and licorice cling to the impressively persistent, precise, and sweet finish.
