($40) Bright pale yellow. Very ripe aromas of orange blossom and oyster shell. A rather powerful style, with a chewy, rich texture and brisk peach, orange blossom and mineral flavors. This really spreads out to dust the palate on the aftertaste, with its ripe acidity nicely buffering its lovely sweetness of fruit. This is the Pinsons' flagship wine, as the family owns 4.25 hectares here. One hectare of 3-year-old vines went into this cuvee in 2008 for the first time, but much of the rest of this holding consists of 50-year-old vines.
