About Domaine William Fevre
Fevre was once good. Now it's great. In fact, the improvement of this house is one of the most exciting developments in Chablis in the past 20 years. The ownership of the Henriot family of Champagne, which also owns Bouchard Père et Fils in Beaune, has resulted in a striking transformation.
2008 Domaine William Fevre Chablis Beauroy
Producer: Domaine William Fevre
Style: White Wine
Grape Type: Chardonnay
Origin: France
Region: Burgundy
Appellation: Chablis
89-90 Points | International Wine Cellar , July/August 2009
(domain wine) Pale yellow. Musky lime oil, shrimp shell and quinine on the nose. Richer than the Montmains, with more texture but uncompromising dryness and very good acidity. The "hot terroirs" did very well in this cool year, noted winemaker Didier Seguier. Finishes taut and brisk.
