(40% new barriques Yellow-gold. Aromatic nose combines pit fruits, poached pear, vanilla and hazelnut. A step up in sweetness and richness from the first two Saint-Peray wines, with a smooth texture given shape by gentle acidity. Deep and creamy, with strong pit fruit flavors and a sweet note of floral honey. Finishes with a hint of positive youthful bitterness and noteworthy power. This is built to age.
