($27) Straw gold. Exotic aromas of stone fruits, mirabelle, baking spices, earth and caramel. Fat, spicy and almost liqueur-like; a rather exotic pinot gris for Deiss, who usually picks this fruit early to preserve acidity. The mid-palate could use a bit more definition but the finish is a tad tart.
