($17) Pale straw-yellow. Butter, smoke, ginger and earth on the nose, with stone fruits in the background. Juicy, spicy and rather dry, with good cut and grip to the subtle flavors of dried pit fruits. Finishes tactile and saline, with good energy. A rather serious style of pinot blanc, in the style of the vintage.
