Pale lemon-yellow color. Lemon, crushed seashell and minerals on the classic nose. Rich but taut, with tightly coiled flavors of stone, lime and lemon. This really lifts the palate and tickles the taste buds on the penetrating finish. As closed as this is, there's a lot of wine here for aging, as well as the strong acid spine to carry it in bottle well into its second decade.
