Yellow-gold.  Expressive aromas of fresh apricot, coconutty oak and smoky lees.  Round, smooth and creamy but not heavy, showing enticing floral lift to the moderately concentrated flavors.  A step up in sweetness from the basic 2010 chardonnay but still a bit loose-knit.  Finishes with a hint of truffle and good spicy length.
