89 Points | International Wine Cellar , January 2010

($44; 30% clairette and clairette rose, 25% each of bourboulenc and grenache blanc, and 20% roussanne) Yellow-gold. Nutty aromas of dried pear and apple, with notes of blond tobacco and herbs adding complexity. Fleshy and deep in orchard and pit fruit flavors, picking up a smoky note on the back half. A powerful yellow plum flavors lingers on the broad, chewy finish. This hefty wine would work well with roasted birds or mushroom dishes. (Rosenthal Wine Merchant, Pine Plains NY
