($29) Straw-green. Precise green apple, citrus and dried herb aromas are complicated by a hint of tropical fruits. Bright and juicy on entry, with flavors similar to the aromas. Finishes crisp, clean and long, with sneaky concentration and a lingering peach note. Arneis may well be Giacosa's most underrated wine.
