($600) Very pale green-tinged yellow. Brooding yet delicate aromas of flinty minerality, iodine, mint and lavender. Almost painfully young today but boasts superb energy and precision and a wonderfully light touch for its superb intensity. A Montrachet of refinement and lift more than sheer volume. Best today on the extremely long, slowly mounting finish, which shows outstanding definition and coats the palate with a light dusting of tannins.
