Bright gold.  Highly perfumed bouquet evokes poached pear, vanilla and allspice, with a toasty note in the background.  Fleshy and smooth in texture, showing good heft to its orchard fruit and spice flavors.  The vanilla note comes back on the finish, which clings with good tenacity and length.
