About Domaine Barmes-Buecher
Husband and wife team Francois and Genevieve Barmes created Domaine Barmes-Buecher in 1985 from family land owned since the 17th century. Today, after the death of Francois, Genevieve carries on their life’s work, managing 30 acres in Alsace, around the towns of Wettolsheim, Turckheim, and Wintzenheim.

(11.9% alcohol, 3.7 grams r.s. and 9.1 acidity; from granite-rich soil) Bright, pale medium yellow. Aromas of soft citrus fruits, spices and flint. Broad, rich, seamless and dry but youthfully imploded, with elevated but harmonious acidity dominating today. Finishes strong and very long, with terrific lemony lift. I like the balance of this riesling, but it will need patience.
