About Domaine Barmes-Buecher
Husband and wife team Francois and Genevieve Barmes created Domaine Barmes-Buecher in 1985 from family land owned since the 17th century. Today, after the death of Francois, Genevieve carries on their life’s work, managing 30 acres in Alsace, around the towns of Wettolsheim, Turckheim, and Wintzenheim.

(14.1% alcohol, 15 g/l r.s. and 6.3 acidity) Orange-gold color. Exotic aromas of mandarin orange, golden raisin and high-toned spices. Then surprisingly dry in the mouth, but showing more nut, raisin and dried fruit flavors than fresh fruits. I find this a bit topheavy today, in need of more verve-and not in the same class as the superb 2007 version.
