($75) Medium green-yellow. Initially shy nose reveals aromas of Golden Delicious apple, greengage plum, dried apricot and smoky flint with aeration. Rather full in the mouth, with flavors similar to the aromas. Taut acids and abundant peppery spice contribute to the impression of definition and firm structure. This beautifully balanced wine finishes very long, with sweet plum and apple flavors. Drink 2011 to 2023.
