($38; 100% roussanne for all intents) Green-tinted gold. An expansive, highly perfumed bouquet displays poached pear, tangerine, smoky lees and honeysuckle. Deeply pitched orchard and pit fruit flavors are enlivened by juicy acidity and pick up notes of botanical herbs and chamomile with air. A pretty wild ride, with lively citrus and mineral qualities adding definition to a long, sappy finish. The food-matching possibilities here are endless.
