($52) Medium straw-yellow. High-toned aromas of mirabelle and spices. Richer and larger-scaled than the Fronholz, conveying a slightly less dry impression in spite of possessing a tad less residual sugar (3.2 g/l, vs. 3.9) and marginally higher acidity. Less impression of oak here. The lingering finish features a note of chalk dust.
