(with 5% semillon) Less fruity on the nose than the basic bottling but more floral and minerally. Juicy and vibrant in the mouth, with lovely purity and cut to the perfumed grapefruit and mineral flavors. The rising, palate-staining finish shows an almost tannic quality but the overall impression is one of elegance. This is always an excellent bottling.
