($17; a blend of 50% sauvignon blanc, 40% semillon, 8% chardonnay and 2% viognier) Bright, pale yellow. Subtle aromas of stone fruits, hay and vanillin oak. Broad and bright, with licorice and floral nuances to go with the stone fruit flavors. Pliant and sweet but more complex than merely fruity. A bit of phenolic grip from the semillon reminded me of white Bordeaux A very clever blend-and an excellent value.
