97 Points | International Wine Cellar , November/December 2009

($98) Medium green-yellow. Enticing, multifaceted nose exhibits an exotic fruit note reminiscent of papaya laced with blossom honey and orange zest. While incredibly powerful, this full-bodied wine is nicely framed by firm acidity. The ripe yet still crisp green appley acidity provides underlying structure for the flavors of sweet, creamy fruit and dark wet slate. The opulent finish goes on for several minutes. Truly a great and seamless gruner veltliner! Drink from 2011 to 2023+.
