92 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - January/February 2010

($78; from vines up to 60 years of age) Light yellow. Intensely perfumed scents of lime, lemongrass, ginger and yellow rose. Racy, finely etched citrus and floral flavors are complemented by deeper notes of anise pastille and honey. A strong mineral quality adds spine and extends through the long, spicy, penetrating finish. This will be even better with a bit of bottle age, which will add flesh and depth.
