($32) Light yellow. Fresh apple, pear and spices on the nose. Juicy orchard fruit flavors are given a sweet touch by a suave floral honey quality and pick up subtle smoky minerality with aeration. The finish clings with real tenacity and echoes the pear note. Doesn't strike me as completely dry; in fact, the blend of sweet fruit and zesty minerality is really interesting and will make this wine extremely flexible with food.
