Greenish yellow.  Pungent scents of citrus pith, pear, sweet butter, toasty lees and iodine.  Smooth on entry, then tighter in the mid-palate, with smoky, mineral-accented citrus and floral flavors.  Builds slowly and impressively, finishing with nervy flavors of orange zest and bitter quinine.
