About Domaine Weinbach
Domaine Weinbach was established in 1610 by the Capuchin monks who also gave their name to the domaine's most prized vineyard, Clos des Capucins. The estate itself got the name Weinbach--which literally translates to "wine brook"--from a little stream that trickles through the property.

90 Points | International Wine Cellar , November/December 2010
($48; 40 g/l r.s., with 6.8 acidity) Pale-medium yellow. Complex aromas of pineapple, quinine, marzipan and ginger, with a floral element emerging as the wine opens in the glass. Fairly sweet but with very good integrated acidity and underlying minerality giving precision to the stone fruit and spice flavors. Finishes suave and persistent, firm but not phenolic. A serious wine with spine.
