($36) Vivid ruby. Cherry and dark berry aromas are complemented by notes of botanical herbs and spice cake. Pliant, spicy black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors show a silky quality along with touches of smoke and licorice. The finish is sweet and slightly firm, with dusty tannins adding shape and grip.
