($85) Light gold. Spicy citrus and orchard fruits on the nose, with a slow-building spicy quality and exotic notes of mace and truffle. Round, sappy, palate-staining pear and Meyer lemon flavors are complemented by a toasty lees note and lifted by tangy minerality. This complex chardonnay finishes with impressive clarity and lingering smokiness.
