88 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - January 2010

($43; a 60/40 blend of clairette and roussanne Light gold. Smoky aromas of poached pear, dried flowers and anise, with a hint of lemon zest adding lift. Firm, tightly focused citrus and orchard fruit flavors show a dry edge on the back end. Nicely prich but the dryness gives an impression of austerity to the dusty finish.
