Light greenish gold. Wild, highly perfumed aromas of poached pear, dried fig, candied ginger and iodine, with a smoky mineral overlay. Deeply pitched and smoky in the mouth, offering dense orchard fruit and floral flavors with brighter notes of orange rind and anise. The iodine element comes back strong on the finish, which leaves spice and mineral notes behind. Very impressive, and complex enough to drink now.
