88 Points | Stephen Tanzer's IWC - November/December 2010

($24; 70% auxerrois and 30% pinot blanc) Full medium gold. Exotic aromas and flavors of musky apricot, orange and medicinal herbs; one senses the wine's firm acidity on the nose. Then spicy, intense and surprisingly dry in the mouth, with a creamy texture leavened by some unabsorbed CO2 This chewy, substantial pinot blanc needs food.
